Food Flea Market - Bitten | Into

One of the first things that happened at the Kellohalli at the new Teurastamo was a food flea market. And I spent far too much. Thin rye Finnish crackers with poppy seeds, meringues with blueberries and cognac, spice cookies cut to look like autumn leaves and a zucchini muffin with cream cheese frosting.
Not actual muffin. That one didn't make it home.

Herkkujen Suomi - Bitten | Into

At the delicacies from Finland show this year, it was all about the vendace. Some like them big, some like them small. And since it looks like Finland will have a herring shortage this year, you'd better like them.

Fry in butter. Eat whole.
