If you wander into
Lumi's new flagship store downtown, you might as well be wandering in the Finnish countryside picking berries. A forest of Finnish ash trees hold up the bags, and the shelves are lined with Finnish elk. As you enter the shop, you rub against an elk skin curtain holding back the chill Finnish winds. Watch out for bears!
This is all the fault of the log-building artists and designers at
Mestariwerstas and
my WoodLabo, and the traditional elk and reindeer tanners
Kokkolan Nahka. These guys will Finn you up.
